Senior Associate, Senior Field Examiner

Auditor

 The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting collateral examinations and due diligence reviews across a wide range of financing structures, including:
  
    •       Asset Based Lending (ABL)
    • Receivables Finance and Factoring
    • Trade Finance
    • Receivables Purchase Facilities
    • Securitisation and Structured Finance Transactions
 
Assignments will involve both on-site and remote reviews of borrower operations, accounting systems, collateral records and reporting processes. The role offers significant exposure to a diverse range of industries, businesses and financing structures throughout Europe.
 
   Key Responsibilities
  
    •       Conduct field examinations and due diligence reviews of accounts receivable, inventory and related collateral.
    • Analyse financial information, accounting records and management reports.
    • Review borrowing base calculations and collateral eligibility criteria.
    • Assess operational processes, controls and reporting procedures.
    • Interview management and key operational personnel.
    • Identify risks, trends and areas requiring further investigation.
    • Prepare clear, concise and commercially focused reports for lender and investor clients.
    • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Support business development initiatives where appropriate.
    
    • Experience & Qualifications     
    •       We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess some or all of the following:    
    •       Previous field examination, audit, due diligence or collateral review experience.
    • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and inventory financing.
    • Knowledge of Asset Based Lending, Receivables Finance or Structured Finance products.
    • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification (qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience).
    • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
    • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
