The Role

Responsibilities:
 
  • Prospecting and updating customer database, identifying any further requirements for customers and building relationships, whilst securing new business, whilst diarising future contact.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with established and new customers to increase business for the Company and grow the department.
  • Working as part of the department and working to meet and exceed personal and departmental goals.
  • Liaising with lenders, customers and suppliers to ensure best customer outcomes and high service standards are met.
  • Contacting customers to obtain any financial documentation for underwriting.
  • Raising quotations from lenders, documenting correctly and quoting the customer.
  • Obtaining any ancillary documentation or information that may be required to process an application.
  • Reviewing financial documentation received and processing the application to the appropriate funder.
  • Timely processing of all applications.
  • Ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and promptly
  • Contact with the underwriting and lender support teams to ensure service standards are being met.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed and delivered in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
  • Attend training courses that are identified to assist in personal and role development.
  • Reviewing all business declines to ensure the best outcome was achieved or whether there may be another avenue we can offer.
  • Review any ‘not taken up’ acceptances, and position solution to improve customer retention.
  • Designated contact for customers providing any additional support or help.
 
Skills
 
  • Candidates will ideally have experience in the Asset finance industry (Insurance, commercial finance and broker background will also be considered.
  • Proven sales experience over the phone to B2B Customers is also essential
